We have two programs under this category: Student Travel Africa and Student Intern Africa: The main difference between the two types of programs is the length of stay, cost, and purpose. We encourage big groups of at least 13-50 members in order for to us to secure affordable prices from our vendors.

Student Travel Africa: If your desire is to travel for fun or want a spring break get away then you qualify. We can arrange for 2 to 14 days safaris, which can be customized to include a bunch of attractions based on the length of stay and preferences. The short safaris are good for the students with at least one week off from their busy schedule like spring break and Christ-mass break. Safaris exceeding 10 days are recommended for summer season. Camping safaris are preferred for students as it saves time and money. We have specials from time to time; please contact us for more information.

Student Intern Africa: This is an extended stay safari, which may go beyond visiting attraction sites like lake Victoria, lake Tanganyika, Kalambo water falls, Bagamoyo, Zanzibar and Olpai George etc . Wish to camp for an extended period of time for research, photography safaris, community work, or attend local tourism institutions for learning purposes. If you are interested in any of these please contact us as soon as possible so that we can plan ahead of time of your planned visit.

Tours require a minimum of 4 passengers to operate. Where there is less than the required number of passengers , Ngorongoro Expedition & Tours reserves the right to cancel that particular trip. Students will be fully refunded in such a case or may request alternative tours/dates on another booking dates. The alternative tour request will automatically place students on this tour in the event that the requested tour is cancelled. Please note that students do not have to choose an alternative tour.

Students are to abide by Ngorongoro expedition & Tours Rules.
Students are to adhere to the guides' instructions at all times.
Tour vehicles and equipment are to be kept clean and any damage made by any student to Ngorongoro Expedition & Tours property or sub-contractors' property will be for the students expense.
These are participation tours - students are therefore required to assist with general chores such as the packing of the vehicle, meal preparation and cleaning up for those in camping.
Students must inform Ngorongoro Expedition & Tours of any medical condition or dietary requirement prior to tour commencement.
Students are to bring their own sleeping bags.
Wild animals are not to be fed or harassed at any time.
Littering is not permitted or tolerated.
Students are not permitted to participate in any extreme activities such as bungy-jumping, snorkeling, climbing or rafting without prior consent and approval of their natural parents. First aid kits are available on all tours.

Malaria prophylactics are recommended for students taking coast Area tour trips i.e. Zanzibar, Dar-es-salaam, Bagamoyo and Mombasa.
