Arusha is one of East Africa's fastest growing cities, it's also a northern Tanzania's center for commerce and trade, headquarter for East Africa and the UN-ICTR headquarters. The city is located 1540 meters (5053 ft) above sea level. The town is the gateway for the famous mining area known as Mererani mining the only found minerals in the World the Tanzanite, many safaris on the northern circuit to the World famous Serengeti National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro crater, Tarangire National Park, Arusha National Park, Lake Natron and many cultural/ eco-tour sites.
