Machame Route : (6 days in Trek)

Day 1: Arrival meets and transfers to hotel – dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Transfer to gate and route begins from the park gate walking through the forest up to the first Uniport Hut Machame hut at 10,00ft (3000m) full board camping stay overnight

Day 3: Crossing the little valley and continue along the steep a ridge going onto rock ridges through heather until the end and the route turns west into a river gorge, reaching Shira Hut at 13,00ft (3800m) full board camping overnight stay.

Day 4: You continue walking towards east up to the junction turn south to the glacier streams where Barranco Hut is situated at 13,000ft (3900m) full board camping stay overnight.

Day 5: From here you walk down up to the junction where you ascend up to the uniport Hut at 15,500ft (4600m) full board, camping overnight stay.

Day 6: Early start for the summit Uhuru Peak the highest pointing Africa at 19340 ft (5895m) from here you descend to Mweka Hut 3000 m full board camping overnight.

Day 7: The day is spent in descending down to Mweka gate. Meet and transfer to hotel with bed/breakfast.

Day 8: Transfer to Airport or Safari.
