Come and visit the mulala village, a typical rural setting nestled on the southern slope of Mt. Meru surrounded by spectacular scenery. The mulala village is a typical rural setting, lying 1,600 – 1,700 meter above sea level. The people of mulala grows coffee, bananas, vegetables and fruits. They also keep livestock for milk and beef.
The women will give an explanation of their farming methods and show the various economic activities which they have started, like cheese making, bread making, flower seed, chilli growing and sewing.
The Marisha river banks is tropical vegetation and home of
colorful birds and primate. Also the guide many show you the most common medical plants used by the villagers. You may continue on to the Ziwa la Mzungu (white man's lake) where a big colony of fruit bats living.
Criss-cross the coffee and banana farms and head up lemeka hill for a breathtaking view of both mounts Kilimanjaro and Meru and of the Maasai plants, you may pass to Moses Karoiya, the traditional healer at the village.
The visit will start walk into the forest reserve, and climb up to the foot hills of the Mount Meru peak, crossing the beautiful natural forest, home of many species of birds and colobus monkey and other monkeys.

Cultural Tour:
(a) Half Day: Our tour will start at Mzee Loti's farm get explanation about the biogas. Cross breeding and soil conservation projects; after a deep explanation you walk to some nearby boma's where you see the various styles of traditional Maasai and
Waarusha houses. From there you start climbing Lekimana hill on top of hill their your have a beautiful view over Arusha town. On a clear day Kilimanjaro is visible. Then descend Lekimana hill on the other side; and visit Ng'iresi Primary School and return back to Mzee Loti's farm get a lunch or if you prefer a traditional meal cooked by women from the village.
(b) Full Day Tour: As in half day; after lunch visit to the
catchments forest on the higher slopes of Meru here you can see the natural spring which is the main water source of the village. Just a few
meters downstream the farmers are building on intake for the irrigation system either if you have some interest you may continue and visit traditional healer at the edge of the forest; downhill you may pass to a fish nursery in the backyard of a farmer.
(c) One and half day tour: As in full day tour; the day is finished with a dinner at Mzee Loti's or at campsite and overnight there. Early the morning after breakfast you will start climbing kivesi hill an old volcano with a natural forest on top. Baboons and gazelles can be seen in the forest. Then you descend the hill on the other side and return back to Arusha.

Nronga: A visitor will start walk form Kyalia to Nronga village where you'll meet Nronga Women Group a dairy-Co operative of that area. From there a visitor will descend to the Kalali women group, where he/ she can see how the women make cheese production near kalali market. In every Monday the colorful market take place at Kalali.
Lyamungo: The tour starts at Kyalia center and leads the walker through mume, Nkuu village, river weruweru up to Lyamungo village where you can learn how coffee production assisted local people to improve their economy. It's wise for more information to pass at Lyamungo Coffee Research Institute where you will get to learn more about coffee production and can also smell the aromas of different types of coffees.

Mzee Yohana Lawuo lived for an astonish 124 years and guided tracks up the mountain at last trip at the age of 70 years. Also the visitor will visit the oldest and lovely German Architecture at Ashira Parish Church with their original bench made by German in 1904. The Church believed to be among the first Lutheran Church in Tanzania.

NE: 420 - Papyus Lake
Tour:
This walking start five kilometre north of Mto wa Mbu, where the Miwaleni waterfall falls down from the rift valley which has created a green Oasis. You may passing some little streams will you walk towards Papyus Lake, At the Papyus Lake the Warangi families collect the materials for the Mats and baskets which they make on the way you can see rice farming and visit Wasandawe families who still make traditional bows and arrows for hunting. The walk ca be combing with a climb to the waterfall at the rift valley. On the way back to Mto wa Mbu you will walk a long the foot of the rift valley passing the Njoro Springs, one of the main water sources for the area. Finally you can climb Balaa hill the “ hill of Misfortune” which will take you just a twenty minute and enjoy the beautiful view over the green Oasis of Mto wa Mbu at the top of the hill the guide will explain why the hill got its mysterious name.
