Dodoma Town:

Is the official new capital of Tanzania, its dry, windy that situated in the center of the country at an altitude 1133 meters above see level, and was located along the old caravan route which connected lake Tanganyika and central Africa with the Indian Ocean. It is warm during daytime and cool during the nights. Dodoma was formerly a small settlement of the semi-pastoral Gogo people. Caravan traders passed through the plateau and it developed into small trading center, also Dodoma is the only area produces wine in Tanzania.

Kondoa Irangi/ Rock Paintings; the special attraction nearest to Dodoma, just near the village of Kolo which are among the finest rock paintings in the world, and are fine example of ancient art and a further reminder of existence of ancient man in this part of Africa. The rock settlers were made in the later Stone Age by the old tribe of the busman who were mainly hunters. Many of the settlers have fantastic views over the plains for miles around; also the paintings vary in quality, size, style and colour. These extraordinary paintings depict the animals and customs of the people at that particular time.
